Questo articolo intende approfondire alcuni temi affrontati nel Manifesto della rivista «Filosofia e teologia». Partendo dalla situazione attuale, nella quale si riscontra un sempre maggiore disinteresse per l’approccio delle humanities, l’articolo argomenta la necessità di voltare pagina per quanto riguarda il rapporto tra le due discipline. Ciò può verificarsi affrontando questioni specifiche. Ad esempio: il rapporto fra pluralità delle religioni e l’universalità della salvezza richiesta dagli esseri umani; il compito di approfondire in maniera consapevole l’esperienza della fede e di definirne la particolare “logica”. Tutto ciò può servire a mostrare l’utilità, sia per la filosofia che per la teologia, del confronto e del riferimento dell’una disciplina all’altra.

This paper intends to deepen some themes addressed in the Manifesto of the review “Philosophy and Theology”. Starting from the current situation, in which there is an increasing lack of interest in the humanities approach, the paper argues the need to turn over a new leaf in the relationship between the two disciplines. This can be done by addressing specific issues. For example: the relationship between the plurality of religions and the universality of salvation required by human beings; the task of consciously deepening the experience of faith and defining its particular ‘logic’. All this can serve to show the usefulness, for both philosophy and theology, of the comparison and reference of one discipline to the other.
