L'articolo si propone di attraversare la recezione del concilio Vaticano II alla ricerca di presenze femminili. Con un'ermeneutica attenta non solo alla letteralità del testo, ma anche alla circolazione di esperienze e all'orizzonte d'attesa che hanno accompagnato l'evento, emerge un sostrato complesso, nel quale le donne hanno avuto un ruolo prezioso. Certamente non si tratta di grandi numeri né di influenze ovvie, ma di un segno che ha bisogno di essere riconosciuto e significato, non solo per interpretare profondamente il Concilio, ma anche per orientare il cammino ecclesiale del futuro. Per le generazioni che non vi hanno preso direttamente parte e che spesso ricevono quest'eredità in modo intermittente, sono fondamentali le mediazioni vive, nelle quali la testimonianza si accompagna all'offerta di una misura interpretativa che sappia rendere ragione non solo del lato esplicito, ma anche di quello ancora senza nome, che abita il reale nelle sue profondità.

The article is meant to examine the reception of the Second Vatican Council with the scope to detect the importance of female presences. By focusing not only on the literality of the text, but also on circulation of experiences, it emerges a very complex picture, in which women have played a very significant role. Although this presence is not quantitatively relevant nor was it explicitly influential, it is nevertheless a sign that needs to be appreciated, not only for a better understanding of the Council, but also in order to orient the future of ecclesiastical path. For new generations, who did not directly take part in the Council, living mediations are particularly significant, since they can bring their testimony and offer some interpretative keys that could explain not only the explicit sides of the Council, but also the yet unnamed and more profound ones.
