Il saggio svolge il tema dell’intreccio tra verità originaria e finitezza della verità come ambito privilegiato di una riflessione ‘filosofica’ circa la fede cristiana, facendo diretto riferimento alla prima fase del pensiero di Emanuele Severino. In una seconda fase, però, il filosofo bresciano riconduce la fede cristiana alla «fede originaria» in un isolamento degli essenti dal loro appartenere al «destino della necessità», con l’esito di ritenere erronea la fede cristiana sia come fides qua creditur che come fides quae creditur. A parere dell’autore sussistono valide ragioni per sostenere, anche in sede filosofica, una concezione positiva circa la fede cristiana alla luce dell’‘intreccio’ prima indicato.

The essay develops the theme of the interweaving between original truth and the finiteness of truth as the privileged environment for a ‘philosophical’ reflection on Christian faith, making direct reference to the first phase of Emanuele Severino's thought. In a second phase, however, the Brescian philosopher brings the Christian faith back to the «original faith» isolating beings from their belonging to the «destiny of necessity», with the result of considering the Christian faith to be erroneous both as a fides qua creditur and as a fides quae creditur. In the author's opinion, there are valid reasons to assert, in philosophical terms too, a positive conception of the Christian faith in the light of the ‘interweaving’ mentioned above.
