La riflessione teologica conseguente al trapasso dal regime precedente a quello attuale in Ungheria è descritta passo a passo, in particolare con richiami a tesi dei teologi Ervin Vályi-Nagy e István Török. Il rapporto tra chiesa e Stato non è di subordinazione in nessun senso, ma di cooperazione. La giustizia di Dio resta sola sovraordinata. Tale giustizia è orientata in senso inclusivo e non esclusivo. È dunque una comunione che conosce limiti (siano essi culturali, politici, economici o ideologici) sempre soltanto in quanto li riconosce molto provvisori e perciò relativi. Ha sempre un senso che questa giustizia che passa oltre il limite sia perseguita da chiesa, Stato e società.

Theological reflection following the transition from the past regime to the present one in Hungary is described step by step, with particular mention to the theses of the theologians Ervin Vályi-Nagy and István Török. The relation between church and state is not of subordination in any sense, but of cooperation. God’s Justice alone is determined from on high. This justice is oriented in an inclusive and not in an exclusive sense. It is then a sharing that knows limits (whether they be cultural, political, economic, or ideological) because it recognizes them as provisional and therefore relative. And it always makes sense that Church, State and society pursue this justice that goes beyond the limit.
