La Denkform appropriata per comprendere i due misteri fondamentali del cristianesimo – unità/trinità di Dio e incarnazione – è l’evento cristologico-trinitario. L’identità di Dio è originariamente un evento e non un principio. Nella croce ‘avviene’ l’autoporsi e il decider-si di Dio come Dio-con-l’uomo. La formulazione trinitaria è Denkform appropriata della fede cristiana, se custodisce questo carattere ‘evenienziale’ dell’identità teologica.

The adequate Denkform in order to understand the two fundamental mysteries of Christianity – unity/trinity and the incarnation of God - is the eschatological event of the cross. The identity of God is originally an event and not a principle. On the cross God posits and defines Himself as God-with-humanity. The Trinitarian formulation corresponds to the Denkform of the Christian faith only if it is able to certify this particular character of God’s identity.
